You can use any ammonium salt (like NH4Cl) or ammonia i water solution. Just consider that the balancing ion in your salt should not be toxic so it disturbs your experiment.
The actual concentrations of ammonia and ammonium in your experiment will depend on the actual pH.
I agree with Henrik; use NH4Cl and measure pH and Temp to calculate NH3.

Based on the above reviews estimate the toxicity to your target species based on those documented and re-evaluate your exposure regime. The exposure concentration depends on the response you are measuring - lethal , sublethal.
There is a lot of published work on ammonia toxicity to aquatic life.
