Hello, everybody. There is a question about experimental groupings: the concentrations about 0, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 is ok, and 0, 0.25, 0.5, 1.0 too. But how about 0, 0.05, 0.25, 0.5? In other word, when can it be logical? Thank you so much!
There is not enough information to answer your question.
What are the units?
What is the effect considered?
The groupings make sense depending upon the cause effect relationship expected. Within that expectation divisions should not be smaller than the ability to affect the result in a way to distinguish one group from the other.
It is not logical relationship that you's about experimental concentration groupings 0, 0.05, 0.25, 0.5, because the multiples between adjacent groups are inconsistent.
