I want to do Population/ Molecular / Genetic analysis of a viral disease in my local population. So, for this purpose, can anyone help me to select appropriate methodology like what can be sampling size? Can i extract DNA from serum for this purpose and what can be my objectives for this analysis (specifically for viral disease). What bioinformatics approach can be used for this analysis?
