There is a growing market for 'organic seeds', but I wonder how different are they from other viable seeds ? Can organochemicals end up in seed tissue, and does that affect plant growth?
Organic Seed means 100% Natural seeds from its parent. it does not artificially modified or processed by using some chemicals or preservatives. organochemicals not used in Organic seeds.

So here is another question: if a crop ( or tree) is subjected to organochemicals ( pesticides, herbicides), can any of the chemicals get incorporatd into seed coat and cotelydon tissue ? And if so, might there be any effects upon seed viability ?
Organic seeds are basically seeds produced by organic farming (also known as ecological farming in some European countries). In this kind of agriculture, synthetic pesticides and other synthetic agrochemicals are not allowed and, therefore, seeds are free of synthetic agrochemical residues. Demand for organic seeds have increased due to the fact that the area cultivated with organic farming has significantly increased in the last years.
