antibiotic used in cattle and poultry farms for many reasons such as increase growth, prevention and treatment
On the other hand, antibiotic usage in livestock animals have negative effect for human include
1- the risk of antibiotic residues in meat and products
2- spread of drug-resistant bacteria
Control of bacterial infections and growth promoters.
They are many uses of antibiotics in livestock production which include:
1 As growth enhancement drugs
2 As performance enhancement drugs
3 For treatment of bacterial infections and diseases. All these culminate to the increased antibiotic in the community
Antibiotics are used in livestock production for two basic reasons. They are
1) Disease Treatment and 2) Disease prevention
These antibiotics are slow down the growth of bacteria and some kills the bacteria.
livestock producers routinely give antibiotics to animals to make them grow faster. When these drugs are overused by humans or animals some bacteria become antibiotic-resistant.

All was mentioned all right and antibiotics used to prevent infection in the animal (prophylactic therapy) or to treat infections ,but these uses contribution of increasing antibiotic resistant of bacteria ,and this is not benefit to human healthy
Antibiotics are used in animals for the prevention and treatment of infectious diseases, and also in some countries, antibiotics are used in animal farming as growth promoters.
