At a fish farm, pond water temperature is in the range 25℃ - 28℃, there is 10,000kg fish in ponds with feeding rate 5%. Every day fish death is around 1%-2%, and moribund fish present hemorrhage spectimia, enteritis. Fish veterinarian diagnosed and considered it was Aeromonas infection, and suggested to orally administer with florfenicol 40 mg/kg body weight, 3 days of a treatment-course. At market, the farmer owner got a commercial product florfenicol® (active ingredient 30%).
