i must heavily object. "Machine Intelligence" today is by no means comparable to the biological role modell, and definitely not comparable to human capabilities.

Of course , my sentence make only sense in case you think the word "Intelligence" should be applied for machines.

If you really would like to compare, i personally would judge the capabilities of todays machines with the level of a cockroach, or a fly (or even below).

But the capabilities are not on a linear scale, where you can order them in a single sequence. There are far more aspects of the thing we like to call "intelligence" than typically discussed. A more thorough fucussing on some sub-aspects would allow to compare different systems with respect to these well defined aspects.

My personal opinion is, that it is even difficult to perform an appropriate comparison between humans and other primates, it is more difficult to compare humans with mammals that we are familiar with (dogs, cats, horses, dolphins, ...)m, and it seems to be almost an open question how to compare with other mammals.

A sound scientific set of capabilities to judge, and compare the "intelligence" of animals seems to be an unsolved subject of research since several decades.

As a conclusion, i would not dare to compare human capabilities with aspects of machines, and claim to compare the "intelligence" .

Human and machines are quite different Human is self-regulated in all aspects of metabolism, surprising ourselves with each aspects of life, including ADN and ARN mechanisms of interconnection. But do not forget that humans spirit and mind, can reaction with other human's with empathy, capability to project more and more complex ways of life,including human communities. History of mankind and the capability to remember and understand multiple actions and effects on human ideas, is one of the main differences between human and machine. even you think in intelligent machines.
