You are correct, a sustainable campus program addresses 3 main components – improving economic efficiency, protecting and restoring ecological systems, and enhancing the well-being of all peoples. Green campus is the part of it. Sometimes alternatively both words are used. Green campus relates for with ecology such as landscape (green space, green living), waste reduction, energy saving.

I agree with Dr. Malhotra. The sustainable campus includes economic, social, and environmental attributes. Also, the green campus can be understood as a beautiful landscape of parks, trees, plants, so, not even all the environmental aspects included. I have just submitted an 'urban green spaces' research proposal what focuses on the greeneries (nothing wrong with that, it depends on what you want to emphasize).
Another aspect, a green campus implies a good environmental performance and a can be justified that it is for the well-being of the students and employees and provides great economic benefits as well.
