We are planning to transfer large area 2D layered film grown via CVD and PLD on Al2O3 and SiO2 to flexible substrate. What are the safety measures one need to undertake for HF assisted 2D layer transfer ?

If you're working with HF in general, proper safety involves:
1) full safety gear including a face shield, gloves and an apron which are specified for work with HF.
2) having an emergency shower nearby
3) having calciumgluconate as gel, pill, foam or injection available right at your workplace (not in some location in the institute, really in a box at the workplace)
