1. Research to reverse ageing: I believe as life expectancy continues to increase around the world, mainly due to medical advancement, there would be a great market for individuals looking to appear younger and feel younger as well. This would lead to an increase in the amount of funding by corporations for the research and development of products aimed at reversing ageing.
2. Research on alternative medicine: In developing countries such as India (and even China), people have faith in alternative forms of medicine such as Ayurveda, which is yet to be fully researched through approaches such as randomised control trials. As these countries develop, more and more researchers would be interested in scientifically testing out these forms of medicine.
3. Identification of cost-effective medicines/treatment through research: With international organisations and governments pushing for medical care for all, many governments would be ready to fund research that helps develop cheaper medicines for all.

The most important thing is that medicine should be divided into two disciplines: emergency care and chronic disease management. The former addresses the issue of keeping the patient alive in the short term, while the latter focuses on maintaining the patient's health. The current systems in Europe and the United States focus on the former, but there is still significant room for growth in the latter. In this regard, Japan is the most advanced. If there are breakthroughs in this area, feel free to contact me for financing and going public!
