Algebraic multigrid methods (AMG) is currently one of the challenging fields in the numerical linear algebra.
Dear Professor @Sundar, I do not think that I can add a lot to your rich knowledge in Linear Algebra and the research therein; I want just to mention the applications Future Research Directions in Problem Solving Environments for Computational Science and Numerical Linear Algebra.
