State electricity Corporation run in profit if the corporation have good Manager (Senior Engineer) to manage. Many person are involved with this management like Director, CMD, Deputy General Manager, Additional General Manager, General Manager, Manager. All the people associate with it are basically Engineer and they got these post according to promotion in service. In Sub-Station there some of the following duties which a manager has to manage.
1.New Service Connection.
2.Revenue section includes billing.
3.Control Room of the Substation.
4.Call Centre for solving customer problem.
5.Maintenance and looking at Electricity Theft, Disconnection .
6.General Section…. Etc.
Recently I joined as a Manager of an Electrical Sub-Station. As a Manager (Senior Engineer) what should be the qualities of a good Manager (Senior Engineer) of an Electrical Sub-Station?
There are many people on this network who are having very good managerial skill.

A good manager should be visionary, leading with transparence and honesty, knowing how to motivate employees, and knowing ho w to create a productive and lively work environment.
