It seems that SDGs would face the problem in the implementation phase. Because:
1- There are not any mandatory rules packages to solve the possible illegal policy resistance.
2- There is governance weakness regarding satisfying miscellaneous stakeholders with conflicts of interests.
3- They need to be integrated with the Systemic approach, Otherwise, Each goal, proposed sub-optimal solutions would not necessarily lead to an optimal solution for the whole system. Even a useful action for achieving one goal may hurt the other goals. So, A trade-off between all subsystems is needed.

I think the goals of SGDs are on the right track; it's the term 'sustainable development' I find wanting. I do not think we can any longer promote ecological sustainability AND economic development. It's increasingly one or the other--which raises the vital question about how the Earth's resources are to be shared.
I think the detail target developed are very much useful and consider almost all areas. Questions arise only in case of the accountability and goverance.
The benefit lies in the accountability the present generation has towards the next generation, that is to allow the next generation to meet their needs, but the limitation lies in the exclusive focus on resources and economics. I think we need to include the cultural, societal, and political needs of future generations in the mix. The cultural needs include a respect for the attitudes, values and beliefs of people while the societal needs embody a concern for groups different than our own. This brings in genetic screening, and engineering along with xenotransplantation, and the ethical issues. The political needs are founded on how we are governed and I am not sure that existing laws and regulations are sustainable.

They are just fine to monitor a system, but they are not useful to design (or redesign) the same system. One would have to design for community quality of life, and then monitor with SDGs.
The issue of implementing the principle of sustainable pro-ecological development is a very important topic for humanity and biodiversity of planet Earth. In order for the principles of sustainable pro-ecological development to be implemented on a large scale into economic processes, systemic, legal, business, etc. changes are necessary, which are part of the ecological reforms implemented in accordance with the green economy philosophy. To make this possible, the classic economy should be transformed into a green economy. In connection with the negative effects of intensive industrial development, an increase in greenhouse gas emissions and the accelerating process of global warming, humanity should reform the development of its entire civilization in an ecological direction. In every field of industrial development and human activity, the principles of sustainable ecological development should be implemented. Due to the accelerating process of global warming faster, there is less and less time for the implementation of these pro-ecological reforms, if current generations of people do not want to realize the global climate of Armageddon at the end of the 21st century. Regardless of the current state of economic development in the world, the scale of environmental degradation, the progressing global warming process, the increasing diversity in the income and standard of living of citizens, many industries need to be reformed and the free development of markets on a national and international scale should be developed and sustainable ecological principles should be implemented development to business processes. Large, supranational manufacturing, service, financial, etc. corporations, which often have a significant impact on globalization processes and on the development of individual countries, should also be subordinated to these principles. Many enterprises in the commercial sectors are not interested in implementing the principles of sustainable development due to the additional costs that they would have to bear. Without state aid, without an appropriate economic policy taking into account the principles of sustainable development, without normative regulations that would force commercial enterprises to implement the principles of sustainable development, the process of developing pro-ecological reforms will be implemented slowly, too slowly. And yet the global warming process is progressing faster and faster, humanity has less and less time to introduce the necessary pro-ecological reforms, primarily reducing greenhouse gas emissions, improving waste segregation and recycling, developing energy based on renewable energy sources, replacing plastic with biodegradable materials, and developing electromobility , protection of the biodiversity of natural, natural ecosystems, etc. On the other hand, in recent years there have been more and more commercially functioning enterprises and financial institutions that are involved in these pro-ecological activities. Some of these institutions want to improve their image through parasocial marketing campaigns and public relations conferences. It is also good action at the beginning of the road towards moving and making society aware of the highest priority of sustainable pro-ecological development issues in accordance with the green economy philosophy. Probably the current pandemic SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus (causing Covid-19 disease) will increase environmental awareness, contribute to increasing the scale of biodiversity protection and the need to increase the scale of implementation of sustainable development principles into economic processes.
Pros: Efforts of the United Nations along with the countries across the globe has been commendable and if we go with this pace SDGs are very much attainable till 2030.
Cons: The elements which would make it possible have not been given due emphasis. Until and unless the disadvantaged people are empowered, it is impossible to attain the goals.
