Of the problems resulting from habituation to the good things, not thanking the children for their parents, because they are habituated to caring for the parents for them.
ما هي المشكلات الناتجة عن التعود على الأمور الجيدة؟
(Unaware, awareness only) itself as a problem, But I want to move with you to another level in it (awareness only does not treatment the problem).
For Example: Many people are aware of the wrong behaviors, however they do.
So we need to understand two things:
Vigilance: which means possessing the ability to move from a place to a place that is more refined and elevated (and does not mean unaware only from us).
inattention: Does not mean not unaware (but means not possessing the ability to move from a place to a place of higher and raise.
I think many of us take our blessings for granted including food, shelter and family as well as having a job. I think to overcome this spend at least a few minutes each day being thankful for all the gifts and calm youself down the moment you think you lack something else that you don't have. Spend qulaity time with your children even if it is only for a short time. Speak to them face to face rather than texting them.
It was demonstrated that phobias could be learned through paired association, and reinforced through avoidance and escape. Scientists hypothesized that what could be learned could potentially be un-learned using these same principles. A common type of behavioral therapy is called exposure and response prevention therapy. It was developed as a direct result of the classical and operant conditioning research. For some disorders, the two components (exposure and response prevention) are most effective when used together. For other disorders, they may be applied separately, or together.
Exposure simply means facing or confronting one's fears repeatedly until the fear subsides. This occurs because of habituation (explained below). Response prevention means refraining from engaging in typical avoidance or escape behaviors when faced with a feared situation. This is necessary so that these maladaptive behaviors are no longer reinforced (See also operant conditioning and avoidance learning.)
Habituation to good things is good but it may make us forget that even good things may turn out to be bad or if habitually done then it turns out to be harmful over time to the person because the person forgets why he/she does it.
We may have researchers who think to contribute to some intellectual platform but at the end they forget how real contribution should be performed and so unconsciously create problems to themselves. To treat this is to remind the individual/s to stop it because it is contrary to what the purpose of an action supposed to be. Constant reminder will work but if not instantly then over time. There are always people who will ensure that all actions are performed properly and so we acquire new habits.
Habituated to good things should have no problem. However, the definition of what's good might be a challenge or problem as what's good to someone may not be pleasant to another person
Unfortunately not everyone is born with the blessings that Afraa Ibrahim
mentions, or they might have lost them through no fault of their own. I think habituation to bad things is more of a problem because it can preclude efforts to make the most of one's situation or preclude attempts to change one's situation.
If God is responsible for bestowing or withholding such blessings as "sight and hearing, complete health and strong body", and if those born with them should be thankful, why shouldn't those born without them be resentful?
What we did not get is usually what we wish but often we have much that makes us blind to see and so ask for what the other has. To be grateful to what we have and are is to know that there are others lower than us. If we strive for that what others higher than us have then we will never be thankful. Those that are not given some blessings know only how it is to live in that way but surely they should be treated in a special manner that others who have those blessings can never have. God gives what is given to everybody and if God wishes everything can change but faith in His mightiness shall never lead us to revolt against what we are given. We are given what we have and maybe we will get more but we are not given something that others did get such as the blessings so that those people can remember God and praise him for at least being who they are as they still find peace and their peace is greater than much of the individuals' peace, if any, because they know what it feels like to be where they are while those who have what the others dont have will never understand it. To say that it is not understood is to start understanding. Hence, all habits should be revised from time to time to realise what we have and be thankful.
