Composition of the steel: C-0.22%, Mn-1.22%, Si-0.21%, P-0.032%, S-0.022% Cr-trace, Ni-trace, Cu-trace. In tensile test Elongation was around 18%. YS- 320 MPa, UTS-630 MPa. Microstructure of the bar contains Ferrite and Pearlite (27.5%). From microstructure of the bar, I predicted that hot working has been done. It is mentionable that, unetched microstructure of the billet contained some inclusion(looked like slag).
First two picture is the light microscopy image of Bar and last two are of Billet.

No, I did not detected the yield point elongation. But I am trying to collect the stress-strain curve. As %C is less than 0.25%, I predicted that the billet was Hot Worked for strengthening. Sir, are there any reason behind this low yield ratio?
