i want to simulate my Wireless sensor network with different mac protocols using ns-2. each protocol should be defined in a tcl by some parameters. i want to know each hybrid mac protocol parameters'
First of all, with ns-2 there several examples for many supported protocoles. Second, for the mac layer of each protocol to simulate, you have to study the back of protocol for example, there are many parameters to define at this level. For example, you have to define the phy Layer, the rate, traffic type, etc.....

One of my MS students is using this recently it s easy to understand and modify as compare to NS 2. IT also has support of MAC layer protocols. However we have also used OMENT++ and castalia for BAN . Have a look at my WSN papers full text on RG .
