We would like to expand NK cells in vivo in order to assess their functionality by adoptive transfer into naive animals. We do not want to use in vitro expansion method because we want to "minimally" tickle these cells prior to transfer.

Actually I don't have answer for your question but we use in our lab IL2, 12 and 15 for natural killer cells invitro

As Karim already answered, all of these cytokines he mentioned, but specifically IL-2 and/or IL-15 are need to keep NK cells alive in vitro (and expand them)
