There are a great variety of analyses to possibly detect Areas of Endemism (AoEs). Despite being possible that the biogeographical units detected by such analyses might represent AoEs, their use seems to be more adequate to address questions on the regionalization subject, as a first step to detect actual AoEs. With that in mind, I would like to hear opinions of what are the most recommended analyses for biogeographical regionalizantion currently, and why?
