For increasing teaching effectiveness, various steps are taken by Professors such as Power point presentation, videos, group assignments, practical application, case study approach, participation and presentations by the students.

Professors need to continuously upgrade their skills and knowledge to keep pace with fast changing technology and developments.

My husbands father who is dead, was born in the late 1890's almost died in 1918 from the Spanish Flu There after training at Jefferson in Pennsylvania to become a Doctor and at 57 married and had a son my husband and Bob is his name, he graduated from Harvard and went to UCLA to acquire a Medical Degree and was in Practice for the last 33 years until last year when I encouraged him to retire.

Today we have Computers and AI and soon Robotics all wonderful tools to assist the teacher.

The same methods of teaching that have worked since time immemorial should continue to be used.

The most important teaching method being the Socratic Method of Asking Questions and Listening to the Answers for insight into the Students understanding.

I say bring on the new tools teachers have to assist them however let us not abandon what has been tried and true and shown to be Successful and I would suggest that introducing Students to the idea and concept of a Body Brain Simplex organism and how to use it for Success is lacking today in the Student Curriculum and would be very easy to teach I have written a very fun article on the very subject using simple imagery of Robot and computer, R2D2 and C3PO to teach the concept to any one.

1. Commitment, tolerance, and positive attitude

2. Preparations, storytelling technique, and open to questions atmosphere

In addition to all that have been suggested, I think one missing piece is the attendance and participation in international conferences. This is where many of the new ideas and innovative approaches to teaching are mostly unveiled.

There are a lot to learn in conferences and you would have the opportunity to interact with many of the speakers.
