In my view, finalisation and clarity of research topics are very important. Availability of required resources like funds, equipments, access to required information are also necessary for effective and timely research work.

Difficulty depends on specialization, so each specialty has its own problems.

i will mention examples of my own PhD thesis experiment... absence of funding (in my case i had to buy by my own the products with high prices), sometimes crowded lab schedule at uni, volunteers not very encouraged to participate in a scientific research...

Starting from the beginning of the selection of the topic ... It is not easy to choose the subject and also collect samples .. As for the specialization ...

Clear and indusive target (aim), upgraded and applicable scientific importance, quick and acurate access into information from global and specialized academic databases, good knowledge of foreign languages, sophisticated laboratory techniques, high cost of chemicals, machinery either computing programs, excellent supervising and cooperation, (probable) high cost of tution fees.
