Do you have a kind of comprehensive and general list of methods/models to simulate/model forced vibrations?
Purpose is modeling kind of anharmonic vibrations (suppose the input is the wave motion of sea or human walk over a mechanical element such as beam) for the sake of energy harvesting.
system is supposed to include nonlinearity so I am not sure Gaussian white noise can be a proper one or not (I think Gaussian white noise works only for linear systems)

This is a very general question. There some approaches for Vibration Under General Forcing Conditions. If the force input is periodic you can use Fourier series approach. For a general input case, the method of convolution integral makes use of the impulse response function of the system. It is also possible to use frequency response approach. I suggest you the book( S.S. Rao, Mechanical Vibrations). For the wave motion of sea you can use periodic force approach using Fourier series. I attached a half-sine function definition that resembles such force input. These approaches are all for linear systems. For nonlinear systems the solution is quite complicated.

As you mentioned Fourier approach for frequency-domain, convolution integral method for time-domain are among most well-known approaches.
But my case study is totally nonlinear and as I know fir such nonlinear systems; convolution integral does not work.
Even for Fourier I am not sure if it works or not.
Do you have any recommendations for modeling stochastic excitation (random vibrations) for nonlinear systems?
Random vibration of mechanical systems is a special topic. It requires spectral analysis, signal processing approaches. You can study some good books. I have an old book.
