Sometimes for the security requirements we usually say that a system should maintain Confidentiality, Integrity, availability, Privacy ,... What are the metrics/ mathematical for VANETs to measure the security and Privacy in Vehicular Adhoc Networks?

There are plenty of metrics with which you can evaluate the performance of a given security proposal. Detection Ratio, Generated False (positive and negative), to name a few. In addition, in VANET context the end-to-end delay multimedia jitter, and generated overhead are also main metrics to be considered.

There are many metrics which could check the strength of the security defense mechanism. Generally, this metric could be applied regardless the domain where you apply this mechanism whether it is VANET, Iot or others.

Here also you could see another paper which proposed an asymmetric profit-loss Markov (APLM) model to measure the integrity level of security schemes for VANET content delivery. Although it is studying only integrity, you can get a clue how to look at the other requirements
