There will be no energy future for humanity in use of energy dependent on nature.

Humanity's only hope for maintaining consumption and development is with use of nuclear energy. In beginning based on nuclear fission until first sustainable reactors based on nuclear fusion are in full operation.

Without this, it will not be possible to dream of a promising future for humans on Earth.

I'm not quite sure I understand your question. All known energy sources so far are directly related to nature. Fossil energies, oil, coal, and gas, are directly related to nature.

Renewable energies such as solar, wind, hydroelectricity, bioenergy, geothermal, and wave energy are also directly related to nature.

Nuclear energy is produced using materials found in nature, including plutonium which does not exist as such in nature but is obtained through uranium that does.

What difference exists between these types of energies? Fossil energies, when consumed, cannot be recovered unless it is expected in a very long time, while all renewables can be renewed in a very short time.

Climate change will lead to water scarcity in many areas which will compromise the nuclear option. I would suggest all generation is linked to nature, what matters is does it do or potentially do harm to nature?

as far as i can think everything in this world is from the nature. so your question is technically not appropriate in this text.

your concern for future energy as climate will change will not affect more on energy production but on the existence of humanity.

Professor Jorge Morales Pedraza , thank you for your feedback. When I refer to nature dependence, the perspective is the impact of weather on energy production. Although I strongly agree that solar, wind, hydro and other renewables must expand, my questions goes to what other technologies that will not be dependable of nature for daily production.

Thanks for your reply. Nuclear energy is the only energy source available today and sufficiently mature for producing electricity that is relatively independent of nature. Other energy sources, such as hydrogen, are still in a very early stage of development.

There are four forces of nature. First, gravity, second, electromagnetism, third is Strong Nuclear Force which binds the nucleus of an atom together. Last, Weak Nuclear Force which is responsible for certain kinds of radioactive decay. So nuclear is clearly not independent of nature. Further Nuclear requires Uranium found in the earth's crust, vast amounts of water for cooling and an enrichment process which is ozone depleting.

We need to employ more regenerative techniques. Like a moving car, can generate power when it moves, and when it brakes. This will complement the fuel being used and reduce such fuel consumption.

If we follow that idea further, we have mini wind turbines along highways and they generate some power due to movement of vehicles along side them.

The idea of using solar panels on road surface is a good idea as well.

Roofing times made to generate solar power has come into existence already.

High pressure steam supply is often reduced using pressure reducing valves, which is a pure waste of energy. These PRV could be replaced with turbines that generate power while reducing the steam yo the desired lower pressure.

Many more ideas like this can be implemented.

Slow rotating turbines on rivers to generate power at remote areas.

You get the idea. We humans are generally wasteful. We need to change our attitudes and become more efficient.
