Traditional settings in which people with IDD live and receive long-term supports and services include own home, family home, host/foster family home, group home, ICF/IID, and various institutional settings (e.g., IDD facilities, nursing homes, psychiatric facilities).

We want to know more about other types of settings in which people with IDD who need ongoing supports and services live. What are those settings called? What are their key characteristics? How are they funded? Who lives in them?

Where should we look and who should we talk to to learn more about these other settings?
