The sciences are relatively self-contained, which prevents more effectively organized interdisciplinary cooperation in advance. Associated with this is a less efficient synthesis of knowledge between different types of science. Science is not doing enough to better harness the social and psychological energies in our societies. In the past and to this day, the sciences were more or less in the service of maximizing profits and not necessarily for the benefit of all people and nature. The sciences have always had too little decision-making power and therefore some political decisions were enormously flawed. What is missing is a science that attempts to eliminate or mitigate such deficiencies. Hierarchology with hierarchography can be a science that deals with exactly what other sciences do not.
