We have modified Calculix with composite beam elements with the possibility to reproduce detailed 3D FEA with a simple beam theory. The code can be launched in the cloud at https://cdmhub.org/resources/scstandard. The paper entitled A Novel Approach to Analyze Beam-like Composite Structures Using Mechanics of Structure Genome is just published this year.
