Dear Colleagues and Friends from RG, Modern cities designed and built in the 21st century should take into account the principles of sustainable pro-ecological development. In some countries, cities of this type are already emerging, in which environmentally friendly technologies, renewable energy sources, improved waste segregation and recycling technologies have been used. In addition, the principles of balanced economic development with separate green areas should be used in the design processes of this type of eco-friendly smart cities. It is necessary to develop electromobility and reduce industrial greenhouse gas emissions.
Given the current technologies of ecological construction, renewable energy technologies, etc., it is possible to combine such technological and housing, socio-economic, ecological and smart city policies. Currently it is technologically possible, while the key problem is mainly financing the development of this type of construction. Unfortunately, as usual, with the need to develop new pro-ecological technologies, the key issue is the problem of finding financing sources. In connection with the above, whether sustainable pro-ecological housing construction will be developed to solve the problems of limited access to housing for persons, families with low incomes, it mainly depends on the financial capabilities of the state and local governments, the state of state finances and the awareness of decision-makers in this matter, on the planned specific policy pro-social and housing as well as environmentally friendly.
Probably, if by the end of the 21st century due to the progressing global warming process the average temperature at the Earth's surface increases by 3-4 degrees Celsius, most areas in the tropical, subtropical and part of the temperate zone will not be viable. People will have to emigrate to the Arctic zones. In addition, technologies for colonizing new environments should be developed. Perhaps in a few decades new cities will be built underground, at the bottom of the seas and oceans, in orbit of the Earth, and possibly also on the Moon and Mars if humanity in the next several decades appropriately modernized the technique of space travel and the colonization of possible planets in our System sunlight.

Several Chinese cities and a few Indian cities have been made smart cities. THey are upkeep with current technological advancements, information systems, and infrastructures.
