Ashya King is now finally receiving the treatment his parents were after. But not before they had to jump through legal hoops, like taking their child from his hospital to Spain and being taken away parental custody over their child and being in prison. NHS has turned around and is now covering the costs of the patient's treatment in the Check Republic, but what kind of cancer does Ashya suffer from? What is this all about really? Incompetence in hospital or out-of-date SOPs? Would proton therapy not be superior over any other form of radio therapy, regardless type of cancer?
