Knowing the overall hazardous effect of chemical farming too we are not getting away to organic farming, even on a small scale or on a large scale in too so what will be the challenge during the approaches or organic farming. Thank you.
Organic farming is one of the approaches to enable and ensure sustainable agriculture and remains one of the strategic solutions to the challenges of climate change. This type of agriculture has gained in importance especially in developed countries.
However, organic agriculture, especially in developing countries where it remains limited must overcome several challenges, including among others:
- The availability of information relating to the conversion to organic farming
- Appropriate training in organic production methods for extension staff
- Institutional support to assist farmers in the production process but also in marketing
- Investissemnt in the workforce
- Face the consequences of low yields, especially during the first years of conversion to organic agriculture, hence the government's financial support is necessary to help overcome this difficult stage
The challenges for organic agriculture are the same for the sustainable production of agricultural and industrial goods. In few words: improve the productive organization, achieve scale, and access to commercial net. We can highlight two essential actions:
1) expose to the government and commercial agents the need to support the activity;
2) organize to improve the scale of production and gain access to links in the commercial chain.
Organic farming is so appreciable and is welcome in most of the issues raised as this time more of the users especially developed countries prefer the produce from organic farming. However, the challenge can be the limitation in some of the raw material or initial source. Sometimes, it cab be very difficult to scale to a commercial level. The challenges for organic farming and its commercialization are:
1. finding effective marketing channels to reach consumers of organic products (in the greenest way possible);
2. the need to build green brands that represent the offer of organic products as well as possible (especially among small producers, where marketing practices are not so developed);
3. the need to make organic food as accessible as possible to a large number of consumers (price);
4. promotion that respects the care for the environment (resources used), along with informing and educating the green consumer;
The current importance of ecological agriculture stems from the following advantages of this cultivation system: less contaminated air, water and agricultural food products; safe working conditions for farmers; biodiversity; fertile and healthy soul; reduction of the loss of nutrients due to leaching; reduction in soil erosion; efficient use of water resources; nutrient quality of ecological products; environmental protection; less extensive use of non-renewable resources; reduction of risks for farmers; protection of the future generations; and economic advantages.
The challenges for organic farming and its commercialization are:
1. Train the small farmers how to do organic farming.
2. Consumer education on the benefits of consuming organic products.
I am sending you two articles in which we analyze the concept of ecological product in Romania.

Organic farming wsill never succeed in countries like India where cheating is rampant. Secondly organic farming is a fad of rich people. It does not suit farmers. It can never be profitgable.
Now a days the farmers are concentrating more on organic farming because of use of lot of agro-chemicals the crop have been contaminated leading to adverse effects on human health.Hence ,the customer have tendency to buy organic farming products having good market value.
I do not agree. Common farmer is interested in income=me which in his case is possible only by increased yield. Organic farming does not give higher yield and therefore not at all suits common farmers.
There are two approaches one is negative and another is positive. The negative approach always count numerous challenges in organic farming that are disseminated either by those who are proponent of chemical farming or failed in organic farming due to incomplete knowledge and low patience and the best example of attached fear of drastic yield reduction in organic farming and another is high price BUT those who think positively they have developed methods and made successful models of organic farming all over the world. IN commercialisation of organic product the main problem is low volume of products of individual farmer that increase cost of logistics and once it will be done by the majority of farmer there will be no problem. Farmers will have to switch over to organic in coming future because of climate change,decreasing soil health, water, and increasing consumer awareness about safe and nutritious food that has increased tremendously after the recent pandemic.
