Dear All
I am using colloidal blending method for preparation of TiO2/Graphene oxide composite, but sometimes I found that some TiO2 pass through the filter paper. I think this is due to bad binding between TiO2 and Graphene oxide. I follow the following procedures: an aqueous dispersion of graphene oxide was dissolved in deionized water. TiO2 powder (P25, Degussa) was dispersed in deionized water and subsequently added to the graphene oxide solution. The mixture was sonicated for 1.5 h and further stirred for 12 h at room temperature to obtain a homogeneous solution. The product was filtered and dried in a vacuum at 50 ◦C for 4 h.
Please, can you help me to know the reason and how can I avoid this matter?
Should I disperse P25 in a specific amount of water using ultrasonic?
Regards,
