I am currently writing a proposal for a MOOC, based around pharmaceutical analysis, and I am curious to learn the opinions of ResearchGate members concerning the most successful ways of measuring whether those who complete a MOOC have achieved the expected learning outcomes. There appears to be an emerging body of research published in the education literature however I wanted to know something firsthand from both the students and the developers of massive open online courses.
