Dear Khaled, contact Christoph D. Schubart. He is expert in crustaceans and works also with invasive species. He is on researchgate and may give you some advice. You could also consider  to send your article to the special issue of Marine Biology. They will publish next year an special issue on Marine Invasions. The dead line for submitting a manuscritp for the special issue  of Marine Biology is December this year. Its impact factor is not high, but being specialized to Crustacea research your results surely will reach the most appropriate readers.

The little problem with Aquatic Invasions is the 560 Euros for publication!..Since the work was more personal, out of any project, this seems really costive. May Crustaceana or Journal of Fish Diseases be closer, but please if you have any ideas let me know. MANY THANKS AGAIN for your kind interest!

I understand the problem of cost for open access journal (I was about to suggest you Marine Biodiversity Records, but it is now very expensive)

The choice depends of what you would prefer to put forward in your paper: invasion, parasite, barcoding... From what I understand, the main point is a new record of this non-native crustacean parasite of fish, with the confirmation of identity with barcoding.

You may then think of Diseases of Aquatic Organisms which still publishes short communications. Another suggestion would be the Cahiers de Biologie Marine (http://www.sb-roscoff.fr/fr/station-biologique-de-roscoff/services/documentation-et-edition/editions-de-la-station-biologique-de-roscoff/cbm-cahiers-de-biologie-marine). As said before Marine Biodiversity Records would have been perfect for that but at high cost for no impact factor (!).

Dear Khaled, try to send it to the Turkish Journal of Zoology. Publication has no cost, and the Journal has free access. It will be published online. in 2016. http://journals.tubitak.gov.tr/zoology/index.htm#

Although not very high, it has an impact factor of ca. 0.6. 

Have a look. Sometimes the point is to simply publish your results if their are original and shall be accessed easily by a wider community.

I agree in that an original work with direct aim and clear results should be published more easily and widely so as to be readily accessible to the interested investigators and authorities. This, I think, opens doors for more investigation and better understanding for the organism and the problems it causes, which are not easy at all. I respect your suggestions, they are really good . I tried Marine Biology Special Issue but they preferred more wide-range work..Then, I submitted it less than a week ago in ¨Journal of Fish Diseases¨ where I found some similar reports for this crustacean parasitic group. So, in case of other rejection, I would go to these three ones according to your kind suggestions: Cahiers de Biologie Marine, Crustaceana, & Turkish Journal of Zoology, in order..
