We (HengcongTao and Zhenyu Sun of BUCT in Beijing) are revising a review of 2D materials in electrocatalysis of energy reactions and want to update our manuscript making sure we have cited the best available works. We are looking for opinions on the best available non-2D catalysts and the best available 2D nanosheet catalysts for reducing carbon dioxide.
What is the electrocatalysis of "energy reactions?" Please define what are the energy reactions?

Carbon dioxide reduction is one of them. Oxygen reduction is another. Oxygen evolution is another. Hydrogen evolution is another. Water splitting is another. One can articulate many more. In this question I focus on CO2 reduction, thinking some workers may be more familiar with this reaction and its catalysis than another "energy reaction."
