Every researcher use variety of instruments in her/his study, and most likely need to separate participant in some groups. For this, he/she must consider a fundamental principle to divide participant (for example good, moderate, weak). There are varieties of methods to cutting scores in the literature, but I want to learn about best, reliable and applicable methods of determination of cut score (cutoff point or standards setting).
Please help me either writing in this website or introduce some useful recourses.
