Growth and development of algae its Depend on environmental condition ,the response of similar taxa of organisms like algae from different geographical regions is differ. This is benefits. We compared related data in research study.
Thank you for your answer, As you mentioned they respond differently since they have already adapted to their own habitant. I am a bit confused that how this comparison can help to understand?
Please let me know your Idea about that, or if possible if you know any reference I will appreciate if you introduce to me.
The conditions in the different geographic areas are clearly different, this causes that the same taxa undergo transformations that can be both morphological and physiological, this is used in studies related to the adaptability that is able to develop a certain organism before different conditions, which Tells us its ability to survive under unequal conditions, and in case of possessing any component that can be exploited, such as pigments, it is possible to extrapolate the conditions of the environment where it produces to be exploited later.
The adaptations of an organism are given by the need of survival imposed by the medium, so they develop structures or lose or suffer changes in their physiology such as the production of structural components or the elimination of some, all in order to Survive and reproduce.
Thank you for your answers, I am also interested to know what is the application of studying the responses of organisms from the different geographical region. it is true that they have developed different strategies to adapt to different environment, but I would like to have a deeper understanding of the application of this study.
For example, if you compare responses of hot spring organisms and tropical organisms it can help you to identify the adaptive strategies that hot spring organisms have developed which eventually might lead you to find a new gene that made them tolerant.
