Make sure that all students understand the concepts. I test this by asking questions or through quizzes. Any area I find that the students have difficulty grasping, I repeat the topic giving more examples.

introduction of the lesson is key. again, it is important to actively involve the students in the lesson by making sure the lesson is interactive. I have come to realize that students learn better and show kin interest when they are actively involved. also, the effective use of resources material is equally as important.. relevant resources materials must be used to make the lesson a reality.

I try to identify first the learning style of the participants to define later the learning methodologies. In general, I try to switch the focus every half an hour as the attention spam is much shorter now. A combination of experiential, intelectual and relational methodologies is the other check I use to see if I have a balanced session.
