What are the advances in a research methodology?
And are there any progress in this classical method of investigation and researching ?!

Dear Dr. Emad as it's the base in the research area, methodology lived some improvement like in the quality and in the way. Maybe it needs to be regulated.

I have seen some novelties in statistic tests for the research validation, not precisely on methodology, indeed!

The advancement in research methodology , at least to me, can be summed up in two different but complementary categories. First, for quite a long time, quantitative and qualitative approaches to conducting research were kept separate from one another and were considered wrong bed fellows.Recently, this view has changed, and at present, researchers can employ the mixed method research to reap their collective benefits. Second, the availability of related digitally oriented corpora has been a great blessing to different researchers so that data driven research methodology is now experiencing a rapid pace.
My observation is that research methodology is now developing in the sense that it is becoming inter-disciplinary. The invisible walls between different subjects are becoming thinner. As said earlier, Statistical tools have developed and are used more inadvertently.
