Sustainability has evolved into a new guiding principle for business in the last few years. When creating “eco-innovations”, i. e. successful and eco-friendly products, sustainability and innovation management come together.

This is a very promising area of research. May I suggest this OECD (2012) publication entitled, "The Role of Business Models in Green Transformation" for your literature review. Most probably you are already aware of this!
