Teaching and learning online (synchronously and asynchronously) can be demanding both in terms of time and engagement. The teacher has to "write" more in designing course materials and the learner has to "read" more (i.e., the various course materials uploaded). But not finding the right balance can cause students to be disengaged. What are some effective strategies that have worked for you to increase interactivity in online courses? Your feedback is much appreciated.

Many thanks,

Debra
