Hi, currently I'm trying to do a meta-analysis of QTL for certain trait in rice. However, most of the studies that I'm using did not provide the genetic positions of the markers flanking the QTL region. So I was thinking to use a refernce map to get this information. Please give me some suggestions on the suitable reference map for markers (especially SSR) that is suitable for both japonica and indica. Thank you.
In my opnion you should use those maps from which you have collected/complied QTLs for META analysis and make a composite map.
Becuse In composite map for meta-analysis you have those markers those linked to QTLs. Thsese markers may absent in reference map you seletected
