I am able to prepare the desired hydrogels, but not able to determine quick ways to obtain the stability and water content for my hydrogels after its preparation.
If You want to know % of water in Your hydrogel You should to weight it accurately and then put this sample into lyophylazer. Weight again after 3-6 h. Repeat lyophylizing and weighting before mass of the gel will be constant. What gel stability You mean? Structural, thermal, chemical/enzymatic? I recommend You to include microparticles with size bigger than gel pores diameter into this gel wash it carefully and then incubate on the sheaker with simultaneius control of these labelled particles.
Thank You for your suggestion Tatiana. When it comes to stability, I am looking more for chemical stability. Like my chitosan hydrogel should remain firm when placed in water and not disntegrate.
