I want to use bacteria Vibrio to express an enzyme that need to be secreted into medium. What are some good vectors for that purpose?
the vectors pPICzαB or pPIC9 both to expression in p.pastoris if you want expression in periplasmatic space of Ecoli, you can try pET26b.
I understand that you want to express and secrete a protein in Ecoli which originally comes from Vibrio? If you are asking for Vibrio - maybe you can use the same vector.
There is a carrier protein in Ecoli YebF

and this is supposed to work and shuttle out proteins. Have no clue why and how this works but it seems to be working fine.
I guess there is also a company offering this plasmid.

Actually, I want to test the effect of a foreign protein on the growth of Vibrio, so I need to insert the protein gene into the Vibrio, either as plasmid or into the chromosome.
Can you not just add the protein made in Ecoli - externally to the growth culture of vibrio??
