I am working with a client whom has requested that we conduct DNase testing within the manufacturing facility.  The kit that they have requested we use is not CE marked and has no available supporting information with regards to such contamination.  I have trawled the internet looking for some justification for such testing but I can not find anything.  I have worked in molecular for over 10 years and although I have used DNase I to degrade DNA in RNA samples, I have never tested to see if DNase is within a manufacturing facility.  The facility in question has no DNase intentionally introduced, is a cleanroom ISO 8 facility, the operators wear full cleanroom suites, with hair net, and surgical masks.  My research has lead me to the conclusion that the only potential source of DNase would be from a human aspect - which is as controlled as it can be.  If anyone has any thoughts and references either to support the activity of DNase testing or not, it would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in Advance
