The General-purpose Petri net Simulator (GPenSIM) is a new tool for the modeling, simulation, and performance analysis of discrete-event systems. GPenSIM is a MATLAB toolbox that is freely available. GPenSIM is also a real-time controller with which external hardware and software can be controlled.
