I am seeking methods to remove trace iron from organic acids, including acetic acid, propionic acid, and formic acid. Distillation works, but is expensive. I'm looking for alternatives to distillation. I would appreciate any guidance.
Ferric ions can be removed from liquid organic acids by utilizing suitable adsorption or precipitation methods.
Regards
Ion exchange resins may be the solution you are looking for. Numerous manufacturers produce a wide range of resins for specific applications.
The volume of E. coli cells to be used is 20 ul.
