i want to write a research proposal on "Climatic stress on Forest Ecosystem Services affect GDP" The questions of the research are as follows: 1. What are the climatic stress that has effect on Forest Ecosystem Services? 2. What are the estimated tangible impacts (monetary value) of Climatic Stress on Forest Ecosystem Services? 3. How the GDP is affected (figuring out the fluctuations) by Climatic Stress on Forest Ecosystem Services? what economic method and tool i need use?
Thank you Kenneth M Towe .I did not find too much work on impact of climate stress on forest. Few study took social and environmental consideration but i did not find too much study using economic tool. i will collect data of climatic event of 30 years but how i can measure the impacts using economic tool is my concern. I need to choose economic method.

Just a thought on the climatic impact on the economy.
Melting ice in Alaska or in different mountain regions may affect tourism in the area. It seems that melting ice is more obviously connected with temperature level than condition of forests.
I don't live in a region with glaciars, so I dont have solid information about that. It looks like serious research about climatic impact on economy will be able to be done in tens or even hundreds years from now.
