Hi,

I currently running a study and want to examine one particular aspect, I recorded data using scales of addiction of both cocaine and tobacco users, while also in conjunction with scales of positive affect, negative affect and effortless control. I want to assess the difference between 3 groups of my DV (Cocaine Users, Tobacco Users and Non-drug users) against my 3 independent variables. I have been currently trying to run a ANOVA but due to the way I have coded it, with DrugScores being one variable in SPSS containing the scores of tobacco and cocaine users, followed by the drug scores of non drug users, which are 0 (as they did not do complete either drug scales understandable) , however spss does not appear to let me run this, even after I have dummy coded DrugScores so SPSS knows what scores are what (e.g 1= cocaine users, 2= tobacco users and 3= non drug users) What statistical analysis would you think is the best?

Thank you
