in most articles i get adding 50g of arbuscular mycorrhiza inoculation(sand,soil,host root) is sufficient to do AMF inoculation research. is that always true? deos it hold true if i want to inoculate a tree seedling(potted in a 15 cm plastic pot) during planting on the field?
Mr.Fisseha i think 50 g is enough for good association. Placement of AMF also important, so try to add AMF mix in the root zone of seedling (at the time of planting in pot make sure that mycorrhiza should be in contact with seedling root for better association). Percent AMF association is also varies with different plant species so it is also one of the important factor to decide the quantity.

many thanks for answering. however, my question is not pot inoculation.it is field inoculation. i want to inoculate the seedlings during planting them on the field.
This whole area is still a bit murky. At the very least, be aware that different AMF products may differ considerably in relative actual AMF content and effectiveness.
