I'm planning to conjugate DSPE with another linker under nonaqueous conditions.
I tried a couple of solvents to dissolve DSPE, e.g. chloroform, DMF, DMSO, none of them works.
Just wondering if any specific solvents or procedures I should pay attention to?
This molecule has a polar end and long non-polar alkyl chains. This make DSPE a surface active molecule, a surfactant, and will tens to produce emulsion. You may check if biphasic reactions work for this compound.

Hi Dr. Liu, you may use acetonitrile. In the presence of a base it could be dissolved in ACN.
