If we consider the electron going closer and closer of the proton, the first motion to take place is linear, then progressively a circular one takes place. Why the linear motion will disappears? Taking this remark in consideration we can consider that there is an interaction in volume between the proton and the electron. It is then possible to explain the half quantum numbers with the quantum h divided into two equal parts between the two motions.
